INGREDIENTS :
 250 g okra (kacang bendi)
 5 red chilies (seeded and cut into pieces)
 6 shallots or 1 medium onion (peeled and cut into pieces)
 3 cloves garlic, peeled
 1 tbsp dried shrimps (washed and soaked for 10 minutes to soften)
 1 cm cube belacan (shrimp paste), toasted
 2 tbsp vegetable oil
 3 tbsp water
 Salt to taste
 Sugar to taste

PREPARATIONS :

- Rinse and drain kacang bendi / okra. Remove the top and tail ends. Cut at a diagonal into 1/8 inch slices.

COOKING METHODS :

- Place the red chilies, shallots, garlic, dried shrimps, and belacan with 3 tablespoons of water in the mixing jar. Press TURBO 2 seconds for twice.

- Scrape down the sides of mixing jar using spatula.
- Add vegetable oil and saute.

- Add kacang bendi/okra, water, sugar and salt then continue saute until soft and cooked through.
Settings: Timer: 5 Minutes / Speed: 1-2 / Temperature: 120°C

- Transfer to serving plate and serve with white rice.
