French Apple Cake

INGREDIENTS :
 110 g unsalted butter
 120 g cake flour
 80 g caster sugar
 ½ tsp vanilla extract
 2 large eggs
 ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
 ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
 ½ tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp sea salt
Mix with batter
 2 apples, peeled, cut 2cm cubed
 2 tbsp granulated sugar , for topping
Garnish
 1 tsp powdered sugar
COOKING METHODS:

- Preheat the oven 180°C. Line & grease a 19cm round baking tin.
Settings: Temperature: 180°C

- Add in butter into mixing jar to melt.
Settings: Timer: 3 Minutes / Speed 1 / Temperature: 60°C

or can use the softened room temperature butter

- Cut apple into quartered , cut halved and then cut into 3 pieces in cubed. Set-sides

- Place all cake ingredients (except Apples) in the mixing jar and combine until smooth.
- Settings: Timer: 30 Seconds / Speed 5

Note: if the batter is too thick, add a little bit of milk. It should resemble almost very thick custard. Otherwise the apples will sink in.

- Add apples in the batter and combine.

- Pour the batter in the baking tin.

- Sprinkle sugar on the surface of the batter

- Bake for 40 min @ 180°C until golden brown.
Settings: Timer: 40 Minutes / Temperature: 180°C

Garnish
- Leave to cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
