- (A) Wash sago twice and drain. Grease a 7 inch round cake tin with oil. Set-asides.
- Add ingredients (B) sago, water, sugar, rose flavored syrup, red food coloring and pandan leaf into mixing jar to cook.
Settings: Timer: 5 Minutes / Speed: 1 / Temperature: 100°C
- Use spatula to stir sago thoroughly in mixing jar. Pour sago mixture into prepared cake tin. Discard pieces of pandan leaves.
- Without washing the mixing jar.
- Add water and position steamer large onto mixing jar.
- Place cake tin with sago into steamer large and cover with steamer lid.
Select preset mode R- “STEAM “ Auto Settings Timer : 20 Minutes / Temperature: 120°C
- While sago is steaming, mix grated white coconut, salt and pandan leaf pieces in a steamer small.
- Carefully remove steamer lid. Place steamer small with prepared coconut onto steamer large and cover with steamer lid.
Settings: Timer: 5 Minutes / Speed: 2 / Temperature: 120°C
- Remove coconut and sago from steaming.
- Allow sago to cool to room temperature.
- Use an oiled plastic knife to cut sago into pieces.
- Roll cut sago pieces in steamed coconut mixture.
- Serve immediately.
